Stores Coordinator

Salary: 20-23k per annum

Overview

Sensoteq design and manufacture sensors that measure machine vibration and condition. 

We are looking for somebody to help manage our incoming and outgoing goods. This person will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of our stock as reflected in our system. They will carry out regular stock checks, process material through inspection and builds, and pack and fulfil customer orders. 

A person with good IT skills will suit this role well, as interaction with different software is required to complete the processes that come with the job title. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this person will interact with sales and logistics, and engineering when required. 

This is a full-time, permanent role working 37.5 hours per week in a mixed stores/office environment. 

Key Job Functions

  • Receiving deliveries and booking in goods 
  • Packing and shipping sales orders from stock 
  • Completing regular stock checks and updating the system 
  • Spotting problems with material or process, and suggesting improvements 
  • Report order status to sales team and respond to changing priorities 
  • Completing final build operations like assembly, test, and packing 

Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum of 4 GCSE’s (or equivalent) Grade C or above in Maths and English
  • Experience working in a stores or manufacturing environment 
  • Time spent using a stock/inventory management system 
  • Good IT competency 
  • Likes to problem-solve and get hands-on 
  • Excellent punctuality and tidiness 
  • Full UK driving licence
